My love of travel began on childhood holidays to Fiji, where I learnt early on about the richness of connecting with people from different cultures and countries. I couldn’t wait to get out into the world to see and experience more of it — and help others do the same. It felt only natural to turn this passion into a career which has spanned nearly 30 years. 

 

Having travelled to 44 countries across six continents (and counting!) on guided tours, ocean and river cruises, and independently — I bring this firsthand knowledge to every itinerary I design. While I specialise in all areas of travel including corporate, I have a special place in my heart for adventure travel, and supporting solo women travellers to take the big, brave leap out into the world on their own — just as I once did.

Hello, my name is Eve and I am a high school teacher and travel agent (Educator Travel Consultant). I have loved travel ever since my parents took me on our first family holiday to Europe. Travel is one of the best forms of education as it ignites curiosity and wonder. I have learnt so much about other cultures, languages, history and myself throughout my travels.

As a qualified teacher with 20 years of experience, I have also travelled with my own students internationally numerous times. It has been an absolute honour to take students to see and experience what I have taught them about in the classroom. I believe that travel has the power to change lives, just as it did mine. I am passionate about exploring new destinations and experiencing diverse cultures.

 

My love for travel has taken me to many incredible places, but Japan holds a special place in my heart. From the bustling streets of Tokyo to the serene temples of Kyoto, every trip to Japan is an adventure. I have also had the life-changing experience of travelling to Spain and Portugal with Contiki, taking in its stunning landscapes and vibrant histories.

I am also a huge turtle enthusiast, participating in a turtle conservation program right here in our country.​ When I'm not exploring the world, I'm at home with my wonderful family, dreaming up our next adventure.

Melanie has worked in the travel and tourism industry for more than 15 years and caught the 'travel bug' when she was a teenager.  Living in the USA in her early twenties was a highlight, selling holidays to Australia, NZ and the Pacific to American travellers was certainly a great way to create life-long dream holidays (or vacations)!

 

Since then her travel experiences have mostly been in Australia, Asia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands. Vietnam is a favourite destination to visit and to share with others - as well as Laos, Thailand and Indonesia.
