My love for travel has taken me to many incredible places, but Japan holds a special place in my heart. From the bustling streets of Tokyo to the serene temples of Kyoto, every trip to Japan is an adventure. I have also had the life-changing experience of travelling to Spain and Portugal with Contiki, taking in its stunning landscapes and vibrant histories.

Melanie has worked in the travel and tourism industry for more than 15 years and caught the 'travel bug' when she was a teenager.  Living in the USA in her early twenties was a highlight, selling holidays to Australia, NZ and the Pacific to American travellers was certainly a great way to create life-long dream holidays (or vacations)!

 

Since then her travel experiences have mostly been in Australia, Asia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands. Vietnam is a favourite destination to visit and to share with others - as well as Laos, Thailand and Indonesia.
